SHARON SPELL

Sharon Spell is a writer, storyteller and former museum docent living in New York City. Performance credits include multiple Moth StorySLAM winner, and co-host of the long-running NYC live show, Gems Stories. She wrote and performed the one-person show, "You're Doing Great!" as well as wrote a pilot script and made a video short based on that story. She recently enjoyed a stay at St. Nell's Humor Writing Residency and has written for GoodLaugh at the Center for Media and Social Impact. Originally from Mississippi, Sharon hasn't totally lost her accent (or her mind). And even though she's no longer a docent, she still has a tour guide vibe so folks ask her which aisle things are on while she’s shopping (she usually knows).
